FMA represents publishers of free-circulation community papers reaching approximately 1.5 million homes and 2.9 million readers weekly.

Our membership is comprised of owners, publishers, general managers and sales managers of free-circulation community newspapers throughout the state of Florida.

Members range from small, independently-owned publications to free paper/shopping guide divisions of major communications companies. The common denominator is that each publication is distributed free of charge to the market it serves.

To qualify for regular membership:  A publisher must publish, on a regular basis with at least 12 issues per year, a publication that is distributed free of charge by rack, carrier or postal delivery, or digitally. In addition, the publication must have been in business for a minimum of one year (though you may apply to the Board of Directors for an exception to this requirement if you publish the FMA network classifieds).
